The Wilder Kaiser region lies in the Tyrolean lowlands between Kufstein and Kitzbühel in Söllandl. Ellmau is easily accessible from Germany. In addition to the car, the Wilder Kaiser can also be easily reached by train and bus. The nearest railway stations are Kufstein, Wörgl, Kitzbühel and St.Johann/Tyrol. From there, regular post buses run to the regional towns. The airport cities of Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck are each only about an hour away by car.
